Sao Tome America Petroleum Corporation (STAPET) commenced negotiations with Sao Tome & Principe (STP) government to evaluate hydrocarbon potential in the onshore/coastal shoreline of the West African Archipelago.

STAPET signed a contract with GeoDynamic Research - Italy, to carry out a 2DPSS (2D Passive Seismic Survey) on the Sao Tome & Principe Islands in the Gulf of Guinea.

STAPET’s Prospect Authorization License for Onshore and Coastal/shoreline of STP was signed by the National Petroleum Agency of Sao Tome and Principe, to implement the minimum work programme.
